In the demonstration spaces inside IRCAM, research and creation centres, music industry players and artists will present examples of instruments which are currently available on the market, in development, or conceived for specific artistic needs.

-  In the same line as MIDI interfaces realised by Ircam, particularly for the flute, but with a different view from the Max Mathews MIDI violin, the japonese composer and violinist Suguru Goto has imagined a new controler that has been prototyped for his piece "Virtual AERI".The basic idea was to get a gestual interface, transposing the violonist gesture, in order to control the computer, the instrument itself has no acoustic function.
