Arkaos
ArKaos Specialises in real-time visual processing technologies market. Its products create live visual solutions for individuals and graphic artists as well as international music tours. ArKaos technicians have created and run the visual effects for concerts given by Daft Punk, Front 242, M People, U2, David Bowie, Jean-Michel Jarre, Zucchero, The Scorpions, the French charity music festivals Les Enfoirés and Les Voix de l’Espoir, etc. And ArKaos software is used directly by U2, Fatboy Slim, the Chemical Brothers and Roger Sanchez to create the visuals for their events as well.

Creamware
Creamware will present technologies, including developments in the frame of the CEU ITS project CUIDADO. Creamware is an international company with subsidiaries and distribution partners all over the world. The company has 60 employees at company headquarters in Siegburg, in Vancouver and at the CreamWare Radio Telescope Facility near Bad Münstereifel. Its major product family line is SCOPE, a DSP-based platform for synthesis, sampling, mixing, effects processing, recording and signal routing.

Christian Richter will present the Query by Humming system on the ISMIR/Reconances exhibition. Traditionally, people go to concerts, tune in the radio or hear music from CD or MP3 players. Quite often they listen to the music knowing neither artist nor title, but the melody is still in their minds. Now it's possible to perform a multimedia query to a MPEG-7 compliant melody search engine ! This project is financially supported by the Federal State of Thuringia, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (bmb+f) and Thomson multimedia
